About HeardYet
A free home for everyone waiting to hear from graduate programs, wherever they are in the world.
Why this exists
Every year, applicants rebuild the same spreadsheets to find out who has heard from which program. They break, they get locked, and they disappear when the season ends. HeardYet keeps that information in one place, organised by program, and keeps it from one year to the next.
It is built by and for people who haven't made it yet: those who were rejected before, whose grades don't tell the whole story, or who are applying from far away without anyone to ask. Next comes Not Yet, a space to share what you've learned, find a supervisor and support each other.
Where program details come from
- Every deadline, requirement and funding detail comes from the program's official pages, linked on each program page with the date we checked.
- If an official page doesn't say something, we write "Not stated on official pages". We never guess.
- Programs change details, so always confirm on the program's own site before you apply.
How results work
- Anyone who signs in can report a result: an interview invitation, an offer, a waitlist place or a rejection.
- Results are anonymous. Others see the decision, the date and anything optional you add, never your name or email.
- When two or more people report the same decision for the same program within two days, each report shows that others reported it too.
- Anyone can flag a report as fake or harmful. A report flagged by three different people is hidden until a moderator checks it.
- "Applied" and "following" numbers count only people who use this site. They are not official totals.
Our promises
- Results, deadlines and discussion stay free.
- We never sell personal information.
- We are not affiliated with any university, and we never promise admission.
- If we ever work with partners, they will be clearly labelled.
Corrections and missing programs
A contact address for corrections and missing programs is being set up. Until then, please check details on the program's official page.
